Ironics

David inspired this post HAHAHAH

basically

Isn't it ironic that baby oil isn't made from babies

Isn't it ironic that speakers don't actually speak

Isn't it ironic that glasses aren't made from glass

Wafel Review

These mini waffle thingys are DELICIOUS.
Carissa bought them around last week and she let me taste one of them.
Instant loooove.
It was.. well it wasn't exactly crunchy but you could get a nice bite.
Tasty and just ugh it was so good.
It also had a subtle caramel filling.

$5.35

There are about 25 pieces in there! (I had already eaten a few)
There is a different package whereby there are bigger waffle pieces but it only has 8 pieces
and it's about a dollar more so I think the mini waffles are wayyy more worth it :)

Adorable and tasty

Y'all seriously need to buy this and try it!!! #noragrets here

12a.m. thoughts

Gah, I miss you.

Sports Day

Well I had a blast today.

lalalala All the Sec 3's lined up and marched into the stadium hoho such fancy
Then we made a pledge of y'know 'sportsmanship', 'playing fair', 'teamwork'.

Then BAM the inter-class frisbee started.

Our class was in the second group and we are pitted against 3G. HAHAHAH I think once we saw Laura's team walk across the field we all thought "ah crap" In the end, they basically, (for the lack of a better phrase), "thrashed our assess". Watching the Laura-thrown frisbee fly perfectly all the way across the field was one sign, seeing their teammates snatch, intercept and throw the frisbee effortlessly to each other was the second sign that we were going down hahah.

Seriously! They even did some cool, weird flick thingy with the frisbee and they passed it to each other by flying it vertically upwards . It was actually a pretty good strategy as our team wasn't able to intercept the frisbee very effectively. All in all, they were amazeballs and we lost rather sadly. 3-0 HAHAH

The second team we played against was 3M. Ok, well we didn't lose too drastically thank goodness.  We managed to keep the score NIL for both sides for about four minutes. We were all thinking "ok. Let's at least not let the other team win". BUTTTT. At the last second, they managed to score a goal. Darnnnn. Hahaha but oh well, 1-0 was the final score

Then finally, we DREW. HAHHAHAHA yeap. Playing against 3D we managed to score of 2-2! It was the match we  had the most fun at hahah as you know, we could actually score some goals HUE HUE HUE

Next were the inter-cca relays! It was an 8 × 50m relay race so we had 8 people in our cross-country team. Yi Juan, Tiff, Jemima, Danielle, Me, Christy, Annabelle, Val. I was extremely nervous, let me tell you. EXTREMELY.

Anyway, we got into our places and the gun sounded with a bang. My heart was pounding when I saw the fourth runner running towards me, arms out-stretched with the baton. When she passed me the baton and I took off, I truly realised how much I missed running short distance. Considering that cross had lost quite badly last year, it was AMAZING that we managed to get second! It was also such a close call! Sooo terribly close grrr. But hahha still very happy :)

Then, thun thun thun, inter-house relays were next. There were two teams of Lee hehe. First was Jess, Calista, Zarya, softballer (i'm sorry I don't know her name!). Second was me, Inez, Cayford and Klara.

Well we totally ROCKED. It was a 4 × 100m race! Really glad about it as I think 50m was wayyy too short as we didn't have enough time to catch up with the other competitors. I was 2nd runner so I would be running the long, straight stretch. By the time the second race started, I was feeing much less nervous and ready to kick some ass. Hahahah. Our first runner was somewhere around third with Blackmore (blue) and Jackson (red) ahead. Once I had the baton in my hand, I was off. Whoo it all happened so fast. I remember passing the blackmore and jackson runner on the way :D Ahh that was a wonderful feeling hahah. Finally, Inez pushed through and Klara took home the win for us!

THEN THE MOMENT THAT WE HAD ALL BEEN WAITING FOR FINALLY ARRIVED.
The winner of the house cup! (Hogwarts ref yeah).

"Fourth place is.......OLSON!"
(ok wow Olson got fourth?? Are you legit? Ok that is crazy!! Ok wow wow ok cool who's next)

"Third place is.......JACKSON!"

(WHAT. THAT MEANS WE HAVE A CHANCE OF GETTING TOP TWO!!!! OMG!!!!!!)

"And now...that champion is..."

(OH GOSH JUST TELL US ALREADY)

"Who do you think it is...???"

(alright it's probably going to be Blackmore.. sigh oh well, at least we got second!)

"IT IS A THREE LETTER WORD...!!"

(HOOOOOLYYYY SMOLEYYYYYYYY OH MY GOODNESS OH MY PUMPKIN DID WE JUST??? DID WE JUST???? WHAT???? WE DID JUST!!!! AHHHHHHHHHHH. AHHHHHHHHHHHHH. AHHHHHHH.
WE WON! WE WON! WE WON WON WON!)

Everyone was jumping up and down and hugging each other and screaming into each other's faces.

Absolutely amazing. Lee hadn't won in over well a long time and today we pulled through!

Early morning day and night,
Lee House warriors out to fight,
we are strong, we have the might,
Lee House is...Boom Dynamite
Lee House is...Boom Dynamite
Lee House is tick tick tick tick tick tick tick tick BOOM DYNAMITE.

May I also remind y'all that Lee won cross-country overall too.
HEHEHHEHEH
ok but really. All the houses did amazingly too!
Three cheers for everybody!

my team

We went to Westgate afterwards heheh

 I ship it

Rain convinced me to try their mee-sua which supposedly
was the 'best' mee-sua everrr.

Eh. It was ok..? It definitely did not look like what I expected it to. The mee-sua I eat back at home
has a clear soup hahahah Well. I guess it was alright. Nothing particularly amazing.
But it was warm, and quite tasty despite the fact that it looked brown.

The mee-sua above came with fried chicken
(which was kind of the whole reason I got the mee-sua. It was a package deal.
Mee-sua + chicken for $6)

The chicken was the saving grace. It was slightly spicy, tasty, moist (don't) and altogether great.

I also got some green apple juice. Mmmmmm.

Very happy day it was :)

Din Tai Fung('s fried rice)

Ok. Basically. Long story short.
EVERYBODY WANTED TO EAT FRIED RICE.
So duh we decided to go to the restaurant that sold the best fried rice.
Din Tai Fung yo.
If you have never tried their fried rice, you have not lived.
So yay we all headed off to the Din Tai Fung in JEM.

What we came for

ordering

Li Shuen's dish came first! It looked quite yummy and there was quite a fair bit of wantans in it.
However, the soup was a little tasteless in my opinion.

Fried Rice with Pork Chop -- $10.8

Then my order come. LOOK AT THAT PORK.
This is honestly the main reason I choose to come to Din Tai Fung.
The rice is fragrant and the eggs and long beans taste sooo good together.
The pork was cooked perfectly! Succulent and tender and juicy.

bby

Fried Rice with Shredded Pork & Eggs -- $9.8

Nikki and Bernice ordered this hehe.
It was also abso-freakin-lutely delicious.
Tasted ALMOST as good as my order :p

Qi's dish came last. We were all ready to murder her as we chose to wait
for all the dishes to arrive before we ate our own hahhaha

EOY Formal Dinner

There were performances too!

Beautiful!

Dumplings in soup.
Well, the soup was salty so yeah it was nice. Dumplings were good.

Carissa was verrry pleased with the dumplings
