AUS ROCs: 3rd Day

I think this was the most interesting and fun day I had in Australia.

We went snorkelling, ate a proper Australian BBQ dinner and saw koalas.

The instructors handed our wetsuits which thank goodness was tighter than the one I wore for kayaking. Cause y'know less water would be able to get in but TBH once you're in the water, the water's going to get into your suit regardless of tightness so yeah. HAHHA

Okay. Let me say first that I am terrified of corals/seaweed/anything under the sea. Except for like sand. TERRIFIED.

So you can pretty much imagine how my experience went. Plus, I had to take off my specs so I was half blind. Basically, I was swimming half blind into blurry shapes and like suddenly run into a clump of seaweed. *shudders*

I was pretty scary at first hahah I didn't really dare to put my face into the water cause I really did not want to see the seaweed and because of that I couldn't really swim properly and everyone was going so fast so I was panicking HHAHA. Thankfully, Na and Nikki took hold off my hands and pulled me along.

Then we saw a stingray! Now that was cool. It was really huge! It was just lying on the seabed beneath us and I wouldn't have really noticed it if our instructor hadn't pointed it out.

We snorkelled for about a half hour or so and then we gathered back at the bus and went off to our BBQ dinner! Or so I thought lol we had to do quadrat sampling first.

The dinner was WONDERFUL. We had sausages, squid, beef patties, potato salad, actual salad.

After stuffing ourselves up, we started the walk. It was a real pity we couldn't take any pictures though :((( We saw about 6 koalas or so!

((honestly, koalas really don't do anything HAHAH I mean they are really adorable and stuff but that's about it. They basically just sit there and stare at you. The most interesting thing they would do would be to scratch their ear. Or eat a leaf haha.))
