AUS ROCs: 1st Day

We've arrived!!

Our room (thinzar, tze tong, me) was right in front of the entrance of the resort so that was super awesome as that meant that we didn't have to walk all the way in when we came back from our trips hahah

The rom was huge for a three-bedder! Two single beds and one queen-sized bed which upon entering the room I promptly called dibs on HAHHAHA.

We even had a dining room and mini kitchen complete with a microwave and fridge.

After settling in and unpacking our stuff, we headed off towards ___ island :)

The very first activity we had was kayaking! Our three instructors were Jaden, Jai and Ryan. And tbh i just have to say OH mY GOsh their accents!! Whenever Jaden was talking, I was literally just thinking "I want to marry your accent. I want to marry your accent. I want to marry your accent" HAHHAHAHAH help anyway.

They gave us wetsuits to wear and we paired off and set off to sea. I paired up with Chuah. Me in front, her at the back.

The first "game" we played was like a sort of relay race thing

After kayaking, we changed back into our clothes and sat down for some lunch!

This was the best chocolate cake I have ever eaten. Period. I'm not usually a huge fan of things chocolate but this was just AHHH.

After eating we attended a talk on two types of birds: The hooded plovers and the Shearwaters. The guides basically just talked about them and their characteristics and their homes and habits and stuff.

After the talk, we went to this place near the sea where we had dinner

At night, we hiked up this hill where we settled on the path and waited for the birds to return to their homes. It was so cold! I was freezing hahah. The whole scene was quite beautiful though.

On the way back, we stopped to go to the supermarket! :D

I found oreo-flavoured Kit-Kats!!!!!!!!!
